I’ve noticed a few of the younger Cocoa devs stating that they disagree with a more significant percentage of the contents and suggestions presented, but none have actually presented anything solid to say why they disagree.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head: these are patterns and approaches that have stood the test of time.

I’d be interested to hear what the 5% of the talk was that you disagreed with.
